What the course covers Health, Safety, and Hygiene Practices Instruction on Swedish Body Massage Techniques One-Hour Body Massage Routine: Focusing on Legs, Arms, Back, Neck, and Shoulders with the Use of Massage Oil Extended 1.5-Hour Full Body Massage Routine: Covering Legs, Arms, Back, Neck, Shoulders, Abdomen, Face, and Scalp Post-Massage Care and Guidance Variations in Massage Techniques and Adjustments Identifying and Addressing Contraindications Exploring Various Massage Mediums Course Requirements: Our ABT Accredited courses are open to absolute beginners, with no prerequisite knowledge required, students will need to complete the online Anatomy and Physiology exam, we will provide you with login details. Many of our students are newcomers to the beauty industry, aspiring to launch their own businesses. We warmly welcome students of all skill levels, whether you're starting fresh or a practicing therapist seeking to enhance your treatment expertise. As part of this course, you'll both give and receive body massage treatments. Students will practice on each other, eliminating the need for external models. Depending on the bookings, training sessions may include participants of any gender. If you prefer attending a training day with same-sex students for religious reasons or any other preference, please get in touch with us before booking, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. When you attend our training sessions, all necessary products and tools will be provided. You have the option to purchase a kit while booking your course at a discounted price included in the course fee (option 2) or on the day for an additional 20% price increase. On the training days, you'll only need to bring a hand and bath towel for your personal use, a completed enrollment form, and your own cold lunch (e.g., sandwich or salad). We'll provide tea and coffee for refreshment. Career Opportunities: Our ABT accredited course enables you to work from both home and mobile offering the specialised treatment(s) that you have completed, students will also have the opportunity to join The Natural Calm team as a self employed therapist whilst you increase your confidence in holistic . You can start earning by offering treatments to paying clients as soon as you have obtained your insurance. (Please see FAQs for more information).
